Slices is a great family style restaurant serving up all the usual Italian cuisine. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable. Food is decent.

My favourite of the day! Massive size (almost the same as the large pizza) and very nice and cheesy ★★★★

Brushetta $9
Very generous with the brushetta toppings! Fresh and great flavours ★★★☆

Spaghetti Seafood $25
Prawns, Calamari, Scallops, Clams, White Wine, Garlic, Lemon Parsley olive oil
Not much flavour in this dish. Pasta was a bit undercooked ★

Risotto Al Funghi $19 +Chicken $4
Fresh Mushrooms, Provolone Cheese, Toasted Pinenuts and Parmesan
A creamy and comforting dish. Great with the chicken! ★★★☆

Seafood Basket $27
Crumbed calamari, King Prawns, Scallops, Flathead Fillet, Fat Chips, Garlic Aioli
A good selection of seafood. Crumbed well and the aioli went with it perfectly ★★★

4 Cheese (large) $17
Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Parmesan, Feta, Walnuts, Parlsey, Balsalmic Glaze
Wasn't a fan of this one because the goronzola was a bit too pungent for my tastes. Decent pizza otherwise ★★

19 Lincoln Square  Carlton VIC 3053 Australia Kaprica is a little Italian eatery in Carlton that may be hard to find as it doesn't really have any visible signage. It really is a destination restaurant. The place itself is on the smaller side and can get busy during mealtimes. The menu is limited, but can cater to most tastes. Would recommend trying out the veal spaghetti!  Diamond Clams, Chili and Garlic Spaghetti $24  Serving size was a bit small and could've had a bit more flavour. Good for those after a light pasta  ★★★ Veal Pork Ragu Spaghetti $24  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Delicious ragu sauce that generously coated all the spaghetti. The veal was tender and juicy. Would recommend!  ★★★★ Mr John Pizza $16 with Tomato, Mozzarella, Pesto and Hot Salame MOST POPULAR! The pizza was spicier than I expected but the combination of mozzarella and pesto was delicious. The crust could've been a bit chewier in my opinion. ★★★☆

Box Hill Central 1 Main Street Boxhill VIC 3128 Australia Top Tea is a newly opened beverage shop at Box Hill Central. Located right opposite the entrance to Box Hill train station, its super convenient to get a drink for the trip home. Drinks are very expensive but taste pretty good. Would recommend trying out! Dragon Fruit Cheese Tea (seasonal) $7.90 + Pearls (+0.60c) MOST POPULAR! Super expensive!
