The Little French Bistro is a cosy little eatery directly linked to the Little French Deli next door. The atmosphere is very homey and service is friendly. Food is overpriced and average at best. Wouldn't come back.

Chicken Liver Parfait with Pink Peppercorns, Port Jelly and Brioche Bread $16
The parfait was nice and creamy. The port jelly gave it a refreshing feel. Brioche bread was perfect to go with it ★★★☆

Harvey Bay Scallops with Pork Crackling, Red Capsicum and Orange Vinaigrette (3 pcs) $14
Fresh scallops that were delicately flavoured. Pork crackling was an unusual addition to it ★★★☆

Roasted Half Duck, Potato Fondant, Green Beans and Orange Sauce $37
The duck was so dry. Not much flavour either. Very disappointed with this one ☆


Beef Cheek Ravioli, Saffron Emulsion, Confit Tomatoes, Braised Leeks, Puffed Buckwheat $35
The beef cheek was decent and the ravioli was an innovative way to serve it. Good flavour ★★★

19 Lincoln Square  Carlton VIC 3053 Australia Kaprica is a little Italian eatery in Carlton that may be hard to find as it doesn't really have any visible signage. It really is a destination restaurant. The place itself is on the smaller side and can get busy during mealtimes. The menu is limited, but can cater to most tastes. Would recommend trying out the veal spaghetti!  Diamond Clams, Chili and Garlic Spaghetti $24  Serving size was a bit small and could've had a bit more flavour. Good for those after a light pasta  ★★★ Veal Pork Ragu Spaghetti $24  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Delicious ragu sauce that generously coated all the spaghetti. The veal was tender and juicy. Would recommend!  ★★★★ Mr John Pizza $16 with Tomato, Mozzarella, Pesto and Hot Salame MOST POPULAR! The pizza was spicier than I expected but the combination of mozzarella and pesto was delicious. The crust could've been a bit chewier in my opinion. ★★★☆

Box Hill Central 1 Main Street Boxhill VIC 3128 Australia Top Tea is a newly opened beverage shop at Box Hill Central. Located right opposite the entrance to Box Hill train station, its super convenient to get a drink for the trip home. Drinks are very expensive but taste pretty good. Would recommend trying out! Dragon Fruit Cheese Tea (seasonal) $7.90 + Pearls (+0.60c) MOST POPULAR! Super expensive!
