The Little French Bistro is a cosy little eatery directly linked to the Little French Deli next door. The atmosphere is very homey and service is friendly. Food is overpriced and average at best. Wouldn't come back.

Chicken Liver Parfait with Pink Peppercorns, Port Jelly and Brioche Bread $16
The parfait was nice and creamy. The port jelly gave it a refreshing feel. Brioche bread was perfect to go with it ★★★☆

Harvey Bay Scallops with Pork Crackling, Red Capsicum and Orange Vinaigrette (3 pcs) $14
Fresh scallops that were delicately flavoured. Pork crackling was an unusual addition to it ★★★☆

Roasted Half Duck, Potato Fondant, Green Beans and Orange Sauce $37
The duck was so dry. Not much flavour either. Very disappointed with this one ☆


Beef Cheek Ravioli, Saffron Emulsion, Confit Tomatoes, Braised Leeks, Puffed Buckwheat $35
The beef cheek was decent and the ravioli was an innovative way to serve it. Good flavour ★★★

Located right opposite the entrance to Box Hill train station, its super convenient to get a drink for the trip home. Drinks are very expensive but taste pretty good. Would recommend trying out! 79 Mackie Road Mulgrave VIC 3170 Australia Chopstick Delight doesn't look much from the outside - or inside to be honest - but the food is worth travelling for! Serving up an extensive range of Chinese/Cantonese dishes, it's a great place for bigger groups (more dishes to share). Flavours are awesome and prices are very reasonable.  Would be back for this!  Wintermelon Soup Delicious and comforting! So very generous with all the fillings and seafood pieces. Would recommend!  ★★★★☆ Roast Duck Nice crispy skin on top and decent flavour!  ★★★☆ Snow Crab (market value) MOST POPULAR ! Crab cooked with fois gras which gives it awesome flavour! Great thing about this dish is that it's a lot saucier than other versions which is great because it means the noodles get extra flavour! ★★★★ Japanese Soft Tofu HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! This dish was perfect with some rice. Super soft and silky tofu that just melts in your mouth!
