Dong Ting is a Chinese restaurant that specialises in Hunan flavours, especially those with a bit of spice. It has a generously sized dining area that’s clean and simple. The dishes are definitely on the pricier side with smaller than usual portion sizes but the food has decent flavour. Service is a bit slow and unreliable. 

Probably wouldn’t come back.  

Hunan Stir Fried Pork $25.80

 Very expensive for such a small portion of stir fried pork. Great flavour and good with rice though.

Steamed Silver Carp in Chilli Sauce $29.80

Just a steamed fish head in chilli. Not worth the price. Still a bit fishy in flavour.

Good flavour and generous size of the yabby. Fun to munch on.

Eggplant and Snake Bean $18.80

Dish was good but a bit on the oily and expensive side. Good with rice.

79 Mackie Road Mulgrave VIC 3170 Australia Chopstick Delight doesn't look much from the outside - or inside to be honest - but the food is worth travelling for! Serving up an extensive range of Chinese/Cantonese dishes, it's a great place for bigger groups (more dishes to share). Flavours are awesome and prices are very reasonable.  Would be back for this!  Wintermelon Soup Delicious and comforting! So very generous with all the fillings and seafood pieces. Would recommend!  ★★★★☆ Roast Duck Nice crispy skin on top and decent flavour!  ★★★☆ Snow Crab (market value) MOST POPULAR ! Crab cooked with fois gras which gives it awesome flavour! Great thing about this dish is that it's a lot saucier than other versions which is great because it means the noodles get extra flavour! ★★★★ Japanese Soft Tofu HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! This dish was perfect with some rice. Super soft and silky tofu that just melts in your mouth!
