Charisma Workshop is a cute cafe hidden away in a discreet alleyway near Queen Victoria Market. Decent selection of breakfast and lunch dishes to choose from as well as an extensive drinks list. Lots of pretty desserts to try too!

Apple Wood Smoked Seared Scallop with Soba Salad $24.50 with Prawn Potato Salad, Prawn Oil Soba, Capsicum, Wasabi Yuzu Mayonnaise, Smoked with Apple Wood
Beautifully presented with it being encased in charcoal smoke. Decent flavours, but way too much mayonnaise with the soba. Everything was just drowning in it. ★★

Confit Duck Leg $26 with Mushroom, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Mash, Coffee Red Wine Reduction, Tomato Marshmallow and Parmesan
MOST POPULAR!
A pricey dish. Duck was cooked well and with good flavour. ★★☆

79 Mackie Road Mulgrave VIC 3170 Australia Chopstick Delight doesn't look much from the outside - or inside to be honest - but the food is worth travelling for! Serving up an extensive range of Chinese/Cantonese dishes, it's a great place for bigger groups (more dishes to share). Flavours are awesome and prices are very reasonable.  Would be back for this!  Wintermelon Soup Delicious and comforting! So very generous with all the fillings and seafood pieces. Would recommend!  ★★★★☆ Roast Duck Nice crispy skin on top and decent flavour!  ★★★☆ Snow Crab (market value) MOST POPULAR ! Crab cooked with fois gras which gives it awesome flavour! Great thing about this dish is that it's a lot saucier than other versions which is great because it means the noodles get extra flavour! ★★★★ Japanese Soft Tofu HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! This dish was perfect with some rice. Super soft and silky tofu that just melts in your mouth!
