The Moldy Fig definitely brought back memories from my trip to New Orleans. The restaurant set up itself with the jazz corner and vibrant murals on the walls. Their selection of dishes are also iconic of Southern flavours such as the jambalaya and po'boys. 


Mixed Cornbread (3 pcs) $8
Nice and soft corn bread that melted the butter. A bit overpriced in my opinion. ★★☆

Vegetable Gumbo $20
Reminded me of minestrone soup with some rice. A bit bland, but added some of their homemade sauce which gave it a nice kick ★★☆

Chicken and Prawn Jambalaya $25
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Loved the flavours in this one. The fresh prawns on top were delicious! ★★★★

Loaded Fries (large) $13.90
Very disappointed with this one. Just fries covered with cheese and some tomato sauce. ★

Southern Fried Shrimp Po'Boy $16.90
A bit pricey but it had great flavour!

19 Lincoln Square  Carlton VIC 3053 Australia Kaprica is a little Italian eatery in Carlton that may be hard to find as it doesn't really have any visible signage. It really is a destination restaurant. The place itself is on the smaller side and can get busy during mealtimes. The menu is limited, but can cater to most tastes. Box Hill Central 1 Main Street Boxhill VIC 3128 Australia Top Tea is a newly opened beverage shop at Box Hill Central. Located right opposite the entrance to Box Hill train station, its super convenient to get a drink for the trip home. Drinks are very expensive but taste pretty good. Would recommend trying out! Dragon Fruit Cheese Tea (seasonal) $7.90 + Pearls (+0.60c) MOST POPULAR! Super expensive!
