Butcher's Diner is known to the place where chefs go to dine after work, so we did have some expectations. Food was decent, but not spectacular. Loved the DIY assortment of condiments on the tables to add to dishes as you liked. Cash Only. Probably wouldn't come back.

Grilled Cheese Toastie $7.50
Decent amount of cheese filling (2 varieties of course). Buttered and toasted bread gave it a brioche vibe ★★★☆



Cheeseburger $12.90 with Hand Cut Chips (small) $4.50
Overpriced for what you get. Bun just tends to melt away. The meat patty is nice and juicy but not a fan of all the gristle inside. ★★★

79 Mackie Road Mulgrave VIC 3170 Australia Chopstick Delight doesn't look much from the outside - or inside to be honest - but the food is worth travelling for! Serving up an extensive range of Chinese/Cantonese dishes, it's a great place for bigger groups (more dishes to share). Flavours are awesome and prices are very reasonable.  Would be back for this!  Wintermelon Soup Delicious and comforting! So very generous with all the fillings and seafood pieces. Would recommend!  ★★★★☆ Roast Duck Nice crispy skin on top and decent flavour!  ★★★☆ Snow Crab (market value) MOST POPULAR ! Crab cooked with fois gras which gives it awesome flavour! Great thing about this dish is that it's a lot saucier than other versions which is great because it means the noodles get extra flavour! ★★★★ Japanese Soft Tofu HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! This dish was perfect with some rice. Super soft and silky tofu that just melts in your mouth!
